On the Live Abundantly Podcast today, Jacquelene Hayes is speaking with Brynn Burger. Brynn is a wife, mom, self-published author and lives tiny! She is sharing her story on why her family ha chosen to live tiny, why it is so important to them and how to live tiny as well.
Brynn Burger is a blogger for The Mama on the Rocks, which she founded. She started blogging for the same reason they decided to go tiny. They do it all for their son and their family. Brynn is a former teacher for public schools and now she teaches by road-schooling her children.
Brynn now speaks about simplified living and how it can benefit mental health.
Brynn and her family have really enjoyed living tiny and it has benefited them in many ways, such as finances and making sure their son is able to live and do to the best of his ability.
Brynn as a parent of special needs, felt alone, and realized she was not the only one who felt alone, which allowed her to build a community to share what she was going through. She wants to tell other moms, no matter what your kids are doing, where they are at, you are not alone.
We have all been there with the dry shampoo and messy bun!
A big thing as a family who lives small, is to make space for yourself. This does not matter what size your house is. You need to have a space. Brynn believes you should be living simply. There are many reasons as to why, but living simply and tiny can really benefit many things and it allows you to also slow down and instead, find the things that bring you JOY.
