On the Live Abundantly Podcast today, Jacquelene Hayes is speaking with Kilee Nickels. She owns Nickel and Suede with her husband and is the blogger behind One Little Momma. I am so excited for you to hear her tips and tricks as you’re focusing on building a business, just being a mom in general and how to do all the things. Be sure you’re tuning in to hear all that she has to offer!
Kilee is living in Kansas City where she was born and raised. She’s a wife and a mom of 5 boys (ages ranging from 20 months to 10 years old). Her and her husband have owned Nickel and Suede for about 5 and a half years and she has started a fashion blog, podcast and etsy shop in that time frame – truly balancing ALL the things!
What started out as just making a belt for her baby boy turned into a rewarding business that allowed her to embrace her creativity and feel challenged in a new industry.
“I just really pursued always becoming better, always learning something, always wanting to do more.”
“It’s all been gradual. It has all built on itself over time, and our family has grown through that.”
“Own your own journey.”
“I love the idea that you decide to own something or step outside of your comfort zone in some small way, that it almost creates a chain reaction in your life where you’re proud of yourself and you’re maybe ready to do it again in another arena.”
“It’s not really the earrings that do it, it’s the person who makes that choice, but sometimes everyone needs that encouragement.”
