On the Live Abundantly Podcast today, Jacquelene Hayes is speaking with Aubree Malick. She is wife, mom and a teacher turned stay at home mom and freelancer. Going against the grain, Aubree is on a mission to inspire moms to live a life with purpose. Whether you’re feeling stuck, unmotivated, unsure and looking for a positive light in your life, Aubree is your girl. Be sure to tune in!
She left the classroom to pursue her business in freelancing. That really took off and has allowed her to stay out of the classroom and replace the teacher income. She is constantly shifting, growing and learning more about the online business space that she wouldn’t have had access to had she stayed in the 4 walls of her classroom. She is still using her teaching background by helping other business owners learn how to scale and shift and be successful in their own businesses.
“If it’s something that I dreamt about all night or that I wake up and it’s just burning inside of me, that’s usually my sign that this has been placed on me for a reason and I need to pursue it.”
“I think the biggest thing that’s really hard when you’re going against the grain is trying to do it all on your own.”
“Sit on it and pray about it and if it feels good for you, then that’s usually a good sign.”
“It was a lot of early mornings and late nights and just making it work.”
“If you’re saying ‘I can only work from the hours of 8-10 because my kids are in bed and I can have peace and quiet,’ then do that and stick to it.”
“It’s such a different mindset shift when you’re transitioning from being an employee to now you are the CEO of your company and you’re running it.”
